Against the backdrop of mounting excitement in anticipation of yet another expansion of the Wendt & Kühn collection, our traditional manufactory is set to release our exquisite Gold Edition No 8. Standing atop a base plated in 24-karat gold, the Treasurer also protects all which is held dear by means of a dazzling gold-plated key. Also during our Anniversary Year the Limited Edition version is limited to just 22,222 in number worldwide.

On 2nd and 3rd December 2017 you can experience the thrill of seeing how the world-famous Eleven Dot Angels and the delicate Marguerite Angels are made using the finest craftsmanship. Once again this year, the traditional Wendt & Kühn workshop in Grünhainichen invites you to our popular Open House to be held the first weekend of Advent (November 29/30). Get an up-close and personal look at how master handcrafters create our world-famous Eleven Dot Angels, tireless Marguerite Angels and melodious music boxes. While at the end of August our angel musicians, Blossom Kinder and music boxes were making an appearance at "New York Now" in the Big Apple on America's East Coast, they are currently to be found capturing hearts in the French capital. "Maison & Objet" in Paris, which runs from 4th to 8th September, attracts exhibitors from all over the world and has a great history behind it. In 1937, Grete Wendt, founder of the company, created great excitement with her composition "Angel Mountain with Madonna”, which was awarded the Grand Prix and a gold medal.
Mothers are very special people indeed. Always there, always with an open heart and just the right words. And now the second Sunday in May – otherwise known as Mother’s Day – is again approaching right on cue. In October 2015, we at Wendt & Kühn will be celebrating our 100th anniversary. To mark this very special occasion, the company headquarters in Grünhainichen will be opening a new visitor center. Preparations for the conversion have already begun. The planned alterations also affect the room containing the historic Grand Samples Cabinet, and this will now remain closed until October 2015. Customers will still have unrestricted access to our factory shop during regular business hours. Following the official opening of our new center in October 2015, the Grand Samples Cabinet will once again go on display, allowing visitors to discover and admire the original Wendt & Kühn figurines at their leisure.
